Robolife Technologies is a research-driven assistive robotics startup, founded in 2018 through project funding support from the ICT Division of the Government of Bangladesh. Our mission is to develop affordable, effective, and user-friendly robotic prosthetic solutions that empower upper-limb amputees to live independent and confident lives.
Since 2020, Robolife Technologies has been actively engaged in the research, design, and development of advanced robotic prosthetic hands using EMG (Electromyography), 3D printing, and embedded systems. Our flagship innovation is an EMG-based robotic prosthetic hand that detects muscle signals from the user’s residual limb and translates them into natural movements, enabling users to perform daily activities such as grasping, writing, and eating.
To date, Robolife Technologies has successfully provided 100+ robotic prosthetic hands to individuals across Bangladesh and beyond—restoring independence, confidence, and dignity.
Beyond product innovation, Robolife Technologies is committed to education and capacity building. Through seminars, workshops, and training programs, we have trained over 5,000 students in robotics, contributing to the growth of technology and innovation among young people in Bangladesh.
In 2023, Robolife Technologies launched a humanitarian initiative by providing prosthetic hands to individuals who lost their limbs during student protests. This effort received international recognition and was featured in global media outlets such as Voice of America (VOA) and France 24. Additionally, Robi Axiata Ltd. produced a television commercial (TVC) highlighting our journey and social impact.
Our innovations have reached global platforms, with robotic prosthetic solutions demonstrated in countries including India, Malaysia, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. We continuously enhance product durability, grip strength, and usability through ongoing research, real-world testing, and user feedback.
Most recently, Robolife Technologies has been selected among the Top 10 global participants for the Future Action Summit Thailand 2026, organized by Echo Change. From thousands of global applicants, we secured a fully funded opportunity to attend this prestigious summit. The package includes international airfare, accommodation, meals, SDGs toolkit, exclusive merchandise, VIP access, an official invitation letter, and a Global SDGs Leadership Certification. The event will take place from 7–10 May 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, where we will proudly represent Bangladesh on a global stage.
At Robolife Technologies, every innovation is designed to create real human impact.
Our 100+ prosthetic solutions are not just devices—they are tools of independence, confidence, and dignity.
