Robolife Technologies Activities
Robolife Technologies is the only robotic hand manufacturing company in Bangladesh, established with an innovation grant from the Department of Information and Communication Technology. Since its inception, the company has fitted robotic hands for more than 100 individuals.
Additionally, Robolife Technologies has exported its robotic hand as a demo product to four countries, including Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Turkey, and India.
Robolife Technologies is fitting robotic hands, developed with our own research technology, for five individuals who lost their hands during the anti-discrimination student movement, with financial support from Babylon Group.
For this robotic hand installation initiative, Joy Barua Lablu, the founder of Robolife Technologies, has been recognized among the world’s top 10 young robotics researchers.

Founded in 2018 by visionary Bangladeshi engineer Joy Barua Lablu, Robolife Technologies was established with financial support from the Bangladesh Government’s Department of Information and Communication Technology. Inspired by a personal encounter with an amputee, Joy was driven to create affordable and accessible robotic prosthetics to empower those who have lost their limbs.
